Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • little fluoride for the work surface
  • 80 g currant jelly for filling
  • n. B. Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

For the dough, knead the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, fat, and egg into a smooth dough. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 3 mm thick. Using different sized cutters (3, 4, and 5 cm) with scalloped edges, cut out cookies and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (convection: 150°C, gas mark 2) for about 10 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool. To fill, warm the jelly and stir until smooth. Place three cookies of different sizes together with the jelly. Dust with icing sugar.
