Texas Style BBQ Sauce

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 200 ml ketchup
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 ml whiskey
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp butter, liquid
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder, smoked, or 2 fresh garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour type 550 or 405

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a bowl or container and mix well. Serve the sauce warmed to taste.
