Texicana Salsa Pan

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g noodles (kritharaki)
  • salt water
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 125 ml cream
  • 4 tbsp sauce (Texicana salsa)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with Kritharaki

First, cook the kritharaki in salted water according to the package instructions. Then, heat a little olive oil in a deep pan. Brown the minced meat in the pan. Next, dice the tomatoes and drain the sweetcorn. Add the tomatoes and sweetcorn to the minced meat and fry everything for 5 minutes. Now add the cream and sauce (to taste), stir, and simmer for another 10 minutes over medium heat. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the pan. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. You can use shredded meat instead of the minced meat, or vegetarians can simply omit the meat. If you don’t like tomatoes, replace them with 1 red bell pepper.
