Thai-style minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 large onion(s), chopped
  • 1 bunch of leeks, cut into rings, only the light green part
  • 1 large garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves, preferably torn
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Brown the minced meat in a wok or large pan in the oil, add the onions and leeks after a while, then briefly fry the garlic. Deglaze with the stock, then add the coconut milk, lime leaves, and chili and simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. Finally, season with soy sauce and salt and pepper, if desired. Serve with spaghetti.
