Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 8 rolls
- 100g salami
- 250 g cooked ham
- 250 g cheese, grated (e.g. Gouda)
- 400 g mushrooms, fresh, not too big
- 1 cup of cream
- salt and pepper
- oregano
- possibly pizza seasoning or Italian herb mix
- 2 peppers, medium hot (to taste), chopped, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Peel the mushrooms and cut into small slices. Dice the salami and ham. Tip: If you like it a little spicier, you can add the finely chopped pepperoni. I prefer to omit this for children and seniors. Now whip the cream (very important!), then add all the ingredients, including the cheese, to the whipped cream and stir well. Season to taste with salt, pepper, oregano, and pizza seasoning. Preheat the oven to 200-210°C (top/bottom heat). Halve the rolls and spread the mixture on top. Bake for about 15 minutes.
