Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 jar anchovy fillet(s)
- 4 medium-sized gherkins
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- ½ tsp, crushed paprika powder, sweet
- 2 drops of Tabasco
- 6 drops Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
- e.g. mayonnaise
- e.g. ketchup

Grandma’s special fondue sauce
Finely puree the anchovies, gherkin, and onion and place them in a bowl. Add the spices and mix with enough mayonnaise and ketchup to create a dusky pink color. It tastes perfect with Grandma’s fondue salad, and if you’re not into meat fondue, a hearty roasted piece of meat is also perfect. Freshly baked ciabatta rounds out the meal.
