Fix Error 31 on the Thermomix
- First pull the plug from the Thermomix. A simple restart after a few minutes is sufficient in some cases.
- Often Error 31 occurs when you have not properly closed the lid. Set the speed selector to “Open” and then back to “Closed”.
- Excessive stress on the blades or opening the lid too early can also cause error 31. In this case, a restart also helps.

- If you cannot rectify the error yourself, there is probably a defect. In the best case only the knife is damaged, in the worst case the circuit board. The component costs around 250 euros.
- Contact Thermomix customer service for repairs. If the device is still under warranty, the repair is free of charge for you.
