Thickened potato soup

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 25 g margarine
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ¾ liter of water, cold
  • Vegetable broth, granulated
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • Vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, peel, and finely dice the potatoes and carrot. Peel and dice the onion. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a sieve or finely chop it. Heat the margarine and fry the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the potatoes and carrot and fry over low heat. Sprinkle with flour and lightly toast. Slowly add the water, stirring well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Season the soup with granulated stock, salt, pepper, marjoram, and vinegar.
