Thu-Ba-Pi – The Tuna and Banana Pizza

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 ml water, warm
  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp oregano, dried
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • Fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Set the oven to full temperature, 250°C or more. Use top and bottom heat or fan-assisted oven. Knead the first seven ingredients into a pizza dough. If you like, you can let the dough rise a little, which will make it fluffier—but it’s not necessary. Grease a baking sheet and spread the pizza dough evenly on it. Press it into the corners, leaving no high edges. Make sure the dough doesn’t tear and is evenly spread. Spread the tomato sauce evenly with a spoon, leaving about 1 cm free around the edges. Tear the tuna into pieces and spread evenly. Slice the banana and spread evenly. Sprinkle the cheese over the pizza and place it in the oven. Bake at full temperature. Check after 10 minutes whether the edges are already browned. Depending on the temperature, this will happen between 10 and 15 minutes. The combination of sweet and savory is a very special treat.
