Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g butter, soft
- 8 stalks of thyme (or more depending on the size)
- ½ lemon(s), the peel
- 1 small garlic clove(s)
- some lemon juice
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems. Finely grate the lemon zest. Mash the butter in a deep dish with a fork, then mix the thyme, lemon zest, a squeeze of lemon juice, and crushed garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Lemon thyme also works very well.
