Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g mixed leaf salad
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ chicken, fried
  • 200 g bacon, streaky, or bacon
  • oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Conjure up a delicious salad with just a few ingredients

Wash the lettuce and cut into bite-sized pieces. Quarter the cucumber, remove the seeds, and cut the cucumber into pieces. Deseed and chop the tomatoes. Finely chop the spring onions and onion. Cut the bacon into 0.5 cm wide pieces and fry without fat until crispy. Then place on a plate lined with kitchen paper. Cut the chicken into 0.5 cm wide pieces and fry in the bacon fat until crispy. Arrange all ingredients on the plate in the order listed above. You can drizzle with your favorite dressing; we tried oil and balsamic vinegar, and it tasted good.
