Tine's Quark Bread without Yeast

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour, light
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g quark, 20%
  • 200 g margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 dashes lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with a mixer fitted with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. Knead the dough once more by hand. Line a baking sheet or wire rack with parchment paper, remove the dough from the bowl, and shape it into a loaf. Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour.
