Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g fried onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine the flour with the baking powder and salt. Add the low-fat quark, beaten eggs, and fried onions. Knead everything into a dough. (The dough will be a bit dry, but the bread will be nice and moist.) Shape the mixture into a loaf or place it in a bread pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes.
