Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g currants
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 5 tbsp eggnog
  • 1 pack of whipped cream
  • possibly mint

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

also possible with blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries

Wash the berries thoroughly and let them dry, setting aside a few for decoration. Mix the sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, and the eggnog and pour over the berries. Let it rest for about half an hour. Whip the cream with the second packet of vanilla sugar. Layer the fruit and cream alternately in glasses, with the cream as the final layer. Decorate with the decorative fruit and, if desired, mint.
