Tiramisu with Apples

The perfect tiramisu with apples recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Ladyfingers
  • 300 g Mascarpone
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 100 ml Calvados
  • 200 g Apple compote
  • 1 Espresso
  • Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cane sugar
  1. Whip the cream with salt and vanilla sugar and first fold in the mascarpone (put a few tablespoons of this aside) and then mix in the chunky apple compote.
  1. Mix the espresso and calvados and sweeten with a little sugar.
  1. Line a casserole dish of your choice with ladyfingers and soak them with the espresso mixture – cover with a layer of mascarpone apple cream and layer the ladyfingers on top again – soak, etc.
  1. Continue layers until everything is used up – finish with a layer of mascarpone cream and dust with cocoa.
  1. Let it steep in the refrigerator for a few hours.
