Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 3 schnitzels
- 4 slice(s) toast bread, (sandwich toast)
- 1 can of mushrooms
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- ketchup
- 4 slices of cheese
- Mustard
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- chili powder
- Worcestershire sauce
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Toast alla Mama
Cut the meat into approximately 1 cm pieces. Drain the mushrooms and chop finely. Chop the onions and garlic. Brown the meat vigorously in a little olive oil. Add the mushrooms, onions, and garlic and cook. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili, and Worcestershire sauce and mix everything well. Add a little ketchup and heat it up, but not too much, so the topping doesn’t melt later on. Spread the bread with mustard and place it on a baking tray. Spread the meat mixture on top, cover with the cheese, and bake at 180 degrees (preheated) until the cheese is golden brown.
