Fruity – spicy pasta salad

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 350 g minced meat
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 3 can/n tangerines
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Spice mix (gyros spice)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti al dente, dice the bell peppers, and finely dice the onions. Fry the ground beef in a little oil, stirring frequently, until browned and crumbly. Season generously with gyro seasoning, pepper, and salt. Add the onions and fry briefly, then add the bell peppers and fry briefly. Drain the mandarin oranges, reserving the juice. Mix the Miracle Whip with a little mandarin orange juice until the sauce runs smoothly from the spoon (not too runny, not too thick). Mix the spaghetti, ground beef mixture, mandarin oranges, and Miracle Whip together. The salad should be nice and moist; add a little more Miracle Whip or juice if desired. Let it marinate well and season again with salt and pepper before serving.
