Recycling for leftover pretzels

Cut the pretzel into slices or cubes. Melt butter (you can also use garlic or herb butter) in a pan. Add the pretzel pieces and toast to the desired degree of browning. Stir occasionally. If desired, add a pinch of salt. Tastes wonderful on salads or is also suitable as a dumpling bread for potato dumplings or bread dumplings. The pretzels can also be stored cut and toasted only when needed.
