Tomahawk – Steak Fried Backwards

The perfect tomahawk – steak fried backwards recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Tomahawk steak approx. 4 – 5 cm thick
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper
  1. The steak should be at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 90 °.
  3. Rub the meat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place in a baking dish.
  4. Leave to stand in the middle of the oven for 90 minutes.
  5. The meat should have a core temperature of 50 – 55 °.
  6. Heat the pan, add the olive oil.
  7. Fry for 2 minutes on each side.
  8. Then season with salt and pepper.
  9. The meat stays super juicy.
  10. Broccoli, carrots and vegetables were enough for us
