Warning—this snack is laced with an addictive substance, but it’s a hit at our parties! One day before class, we make the delicate cheese cream: Mix cottage cheese, feta cheese, and a splash of milk (it will become creamier). Then we get to the seasoning: a generous amount of garlic (fresh, of course—but be careful—it gets hotter as it steeps), a bit of chili powder, pepper, salt, and a few herbs from the 8-herb mix (available frozen). Then let it steep overnight. The next day, wash the tomatoes and cut them into thick slices (approx. 0.5 cm to 0.7 cm). Then place the cheese cream on top of each tomato slice (lying down). Chop chives (fresh!) and sprinkle them on top for a nice eye-catcher! Serve with a delicious baguette (heat up a herb baguette!) or serve it on a barbecue. Honestly—it tastes great! Try it!
