Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg tomato(s), aromatic, possibly oxheart
  • 1 stalk(s) Celery, small
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 small chili peppers, dried
  • ½ bunch basil
  • Salt
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Very fruity, goes well with meat and fish. Good base for tomato sauces

Peel the tomatoes (place them in boiling water) and cut into pieces. Finely slice the celery, crush the garlic cloves. Add the chili peppers whole. Add salt and sugar. Mix everything together and simmer in a covered saucepan for about 1 hour. Puree, season to taste, and add the finely chopped basil. Freezes well in portion bags.
