tomato cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 jar tomatoes, dried in oil
  • Tomato paste
  • Seasoning(s) as desired (salt, pepper, tomato seasoning, oregano, etc.)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for grilling or raclette – it suits many occasions

First, mince the garlic, drain the sun-dried tomatoes (save the oil for later), and then chop them finely. Place the garlic, tomatoes, cream cheese, and crème fraîche in a container and mix. Let it all sit for about 30 minutes. Then add a little oil from the sun-dried tomatoes and a little tomato paste (for color). Finally, season to taste. Since the tomatoes are already seasoned, there’s no need to add any more salt. Just taste and everyone likes their own flavor. The tomato cream is a hit at barbecues or raclette. It also works as a dip for crackers or similar items. Since the tomato cream is a dip, it’s actually enough for 8-10 people.
