Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 can tomato(s), pureed (pelati) or diced
- 1 m.-large onion(s), chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Tomato puree from the tube
- ketchup
- Mixed herbs of your choice, Italian style
- 1 bay leaf
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 1 shot of cream or Rama Cremefine to refine
- n. B. garlic
- 1 shot of red wine, if needed
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add canned tomatoes and simmer briefly – if desired, purée with a hand blender. Add tomato puree and ketchup to taste. Season generously with herbs and spices and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. If you like, press in garlic and add a splash of red wine. Shortly before serving, add a splash of cream or Rama Cremefine and bring back to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve this sauce with pasta of your choice. Serve with grated cheese and a glass of red wine.
