Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 slices of bread
- butter
- 60 g ham, cooked or smoked
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 eggs
- Milk
- 3 tbsp chopped herbs, of your choice
- Salt
- Pepper, freshly ground
- Nutmeg, grated
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 60 g cheese (butter cheese), grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Dice the ham and onions. Whisk the eggs with a splash of milk. Add the herbs and season well with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Toast and butter the bread. Add a little fat to a pan and sauté the ham and onions. Add the egg mixture and let it set in the pan. Slice the tomatoes and place them on the bread, then top with the scrambled eggs. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven for about 6 minutes.
