Tomato-mozzarella chicken with tomato sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g chicken schnitzel (minute schnitzel) or chicken breast
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped
  • Fat for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Chicken seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve the chicken breast lengthwise to create thinner pieces. Season the meat well on both sides and then sear briefly in a pan. Then place it in a baking dish. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella. First, distribute the tomatoes over the meat, season again, and finally arrange the mozzarella slices on top. Heat the pureed tomatoes and the chopped tomatoes together in a pan and season to taste. Meanwhile, place the baking dish in the oven for 10 minutes at 150°C and then for another 5 minutes at 180°C. Serve the chicken with the sauce. Pasta and rice are delicious with it.
