Tomato Onion Quiche

The perfect tomato onion quiche recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Dough:

  • 300 g Quiche dough s. M. KB

Filling / topping:

  • 6 piece Cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 piece Chopped onion
  • 2 piece Garlic clove chopped
  • 30 g Salami, diced
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 4 tbsp Cream cheese double cream setting
  • 150 g Yogurt
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 2 tbsp Liquid butter
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Basil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 40 g Grated cheese

Tomato and onion quiche:

  1. First, prepare the quiche dough, e.g. according to my cookbook, roll it out into a 22-inch tart form and knead a high edge. For the filling, chop the tomatoes, onions, garlic and salami into small pieces. Fry all of this briefly in a pan. Mix the mixture with the cream cheese, yoghurt, butter and the spices in a mixing bowl, mix the contents of the pan with them and pour the batter onto the quiche and mix gently with the spoon with the grated cheese and egg on top.

Baking time:

  1. Bake the filled tin in the electric oven for about 45 minutes at 180 ° C to make a quiche.
