Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 4 tsp tomato paste
  • 24 slice(s) of bread, round brown bread or wholemeal bread (cut out with a jar)
  • 500 g cucumber(s)
  • herbs, fresh
  • 290 g cream cheese
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 8 slice(s) ham, cooked

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the butter with the tomato paste and spread it on 8 slices of bread. Wash the cucumber, pat dry, halve, and remove the seeds with a small teaspoon. Finely dice the flesh and stir it into the cream cheese along with the finely chopped herbs. Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems. Slice the tomatoes. Spread the cream cheese on 4 slices of bread, then top the remaining slices with the tomato slices and the cooked ham. Stack the slices of bread on top of each other, finishing with the last slice.
