Tomato squares with puff pastry, thyme and sour cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, ready-made, rolled, rectangular
  • 1 cup of sour cream, approx. 200 g
  • 10 sprigs of thyme
  • 20 cocktail tomatoes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

vegetarian, quick and easy, delicious, great for the buffet

Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 5 x 5 cm squares. Mix the sour cream with salt and pepper and spread it on each square. Pick the thyme leaves and sprinkle them on the squares. Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top. Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan oven) for 10 minutes. This is also great for a take-home buffet. Yellow tomatoes add color.
