Tomato Tart with Goat Cheese

The perfect tomato tart with goat cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pack Puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 400 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 4 Branches Thyme
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 4 Eggs size M
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 225 g Goat cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Lavender flowers
  • Salt pepper
  • Butter for the mold
  1. Unroll the puff pastry and roll it out slightly larger than the shape. Place in the greased dish so that the edge is also covered.
  2. For the filling, wash and drain the tomatoes. Spread on the puff pastry. Mix the cream with the eggs, olive oil, goat cheese and lavender flowers. Season well with salt and pepper. Pour the topping over the tart and sprinkle with thyme.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove 180 degrees top and bottom heat / convection 160 degrees) for about 25 minutes. Let the tart cool down for about 5 minutes before serving and serve it warm or enjoy it cold.
