Tomato-tuna sauce for spaghetti

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • Salt
  • 300 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • Herbs for sprinkling
  • Parmesan for sprinkling
  • Pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the diced onion and garlic. Add the herbs and sauté briefly. Add the tomato paste and sauté. Add the passata and simmer for about 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Roughly chop the drained tuna, add it, and heat gently. Cook the pasta as usual until al dente. Serve on plates and sprinkle with herbs and cheese.
