Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g cherry(s) (sweet)
  • 250 g gooseberries
  • 8 apricots or peaches
  • 2 small apples
  • ½ liter of water
  • 150 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Boil the sugar and water until dissolved. First, cook the chopped apples in the water until tender, then remove them with a slotted spoon and arrange them in a glass bowl. Then cook the chopped apricots/peaches in the same solution, then remove them and spread them over the apple mixture. Repeat with the gooseberries and then the cherries. Slowly pour the slightly thickened fruit juice over the now beautifully arranged fruit. Tip: Vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce, and whipped cream go well with this.
