Tomatoes – feta cheese – salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 tomatoes
  • 2 shallots
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 8 tbsp olive oil, good
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, good dark
  • 1 tbsp basil, chopped
  • Herbal salt (organic)
  • Sugar
  • Pepper, black pepper to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the tomatoes into eighths, then halve them crosswise. Halve the shallots, cut them into half rings, and add them to the tomatoes. Divide them among four small bowls or plates. Season with herb salt and a pinch of sugar. Combine the olive oil and balsamic vinegar and drizzle over the tomatoes. Crumble the feta cheese and sprinkle it over the tomatoes along with the basil. Serve with baguette or ciabatta.
