One-Pot Pasta
First, slice the garlic thinly, then halve them. Do the same with the onion, so that it ends up cut into half rings. Halve the tomatoes and remove the basil leaves. Break the spaghetti in half, place it in a large pan, and add the prepared ingredients—sliced onion, garlic, tomatoes, and basil leaves. Add the water, season well with pepper and salt, and finally drizzle with 2-3 tablespoons of oil. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat, stirring occasionally, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until the spaghetti is al dente. You may need to add an additional splash of water. Remove from the heat and serve the spaghetti with grated cheese and a few fresh basil leaves.
