Tomatoes with mozzarella

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g tomatoes
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp basil, fresh (or 1 tsp dried)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

Wash the tomatoes. Remove the stems and slice them. Drain the mozzarella and cut into thin slices. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a plate. Whisk together the oil and balsamic vinegar. Finely chop the basil and mix in. Drizzle the dressing over the tomatoes and mozzarella. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
