Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, prepare the pancakes. Put the flour, milk, water, and eggs in a bowl and mix with an electric whisk. Add sugar to taste and mix again. Fry the pancakes in batches with a little margarine. Let the finished pancakes cool slightly so they can be handled. Spread each pancake with jam, roll them up tightly, and place them close together in a baking dish. Mix the cream with about a tablespoon of jam and the egg yolk and spread over the pancakes. Let the pancakes set for about 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at about 200°C. During this time, beat the two egg whites until stiff peaks. After the time in the oven, spread the egg whites over the pancakes and let them brown in the oven. Then serve the pancakes with the vanilla sauce.
