Tortellini alla Panna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 packs of fresh tortellini filled with meat from the refrigerated section
  • 2 packs of Italian cream (Panna da Cucina)
  • 1 pack of ham
  • 1 handful of parsley, freshly chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Tortellini in ham and cream sauce

Prepare the tortellini according to the package instructions. Dice the ham and chop the parsley. Drain the tortellini briefly and then place them in a deep pan. Immediately add the Italian panna and mix well with the tortellini. Reduce the heat to low; the cream should only be hot, not boiling. Add the ham and parsley, heat briefly, and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately; the cream should still be nice and creamy. Only prepare this dish with Italian panna, as it won’t work with liquid German cream.
