Tortellini in cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tortellini, green, yellow, red
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 g butter
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • Parmesan, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley, finely chopped
  • Thyme
  • rosemary
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the tortellini in lightly salted water for about 20 minutes, drain. Finely dice the onions, sauté in the oil until translucent, and add the butter. Season with a little thyme, a pinch of rosemary, a dash of nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Add the parsley and gradually stir in the cream. Add the tortellini and reduce the heat to low until the cream reduces slightly. Transfer to a warmed bowl and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
