Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml yogurt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ bunch of chives and/or 5-6 stalks of rocket, sumac
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, small
  • Salt and pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cold sauce for grilled, baked, roasted without sauce

Finely slice chives (and/or arugula). Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Press in the peeled garlic clove and stir again. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. This sauce comes in countless variations. Arugula imparts a delicate, nutty flavor, while sumac (a level tablespoon) adds a slightly sour note. It’s important that the ingredients don’t overpower the yogurt. If you’re not worried about your waistline, try Turkish süzme yogurt. It’s a 10% alcohol yogurt that’s packed with flavor.
