Tortellini salad with tomatoes and ham

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500g tortellini
  • 600 g tomatoes
  • 400 g cooked ham
  • 1 jar salad cream (Miracel Whip) (250 g)
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp basil, fresh (or frozen)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the tortellini, dice the tomatoes and ham (it doesn’t have to be very small). Combine all the sauce ingredients, mix everything, and let it simmer. Done! You can vary the ingredients to your liking, using a little less mayonnaise or fewer tomatoes. Dried tortellini are cheaper, but the fresh, pre-cooked ones are the tastiest!
