Tortellini with dried tomatoes and chickpeas

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 750 g tortellini from the refrigerated section
  • Water (salt water)
  • 1 jar chickpeas from the can
  • 1 jar tomato(s), dried
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 can of tuna
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the tortellini in salted water according to the package instructions. Sauté the garlic and onions in the oil from the pickled tomatoes. Stir in the tomato paste. Add the chickpeas and the chopped tomatoes. Drain the tuna and add it to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked tortellini to the pan and toss to coat. Serve on plates. Tastes delicious even lukewarm.
