Tortellini with ham cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 shot of white wine or sparkling wine
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • possibly peas or broccoli, cooked
  • 2 cups of cream, 200 ml each
  • 2 cups of milk, 200 ml each
  • salt and pepper
  • vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • possibly sauce thickener, light or some processed cheese to thicken
  • 2 bags of tortellini from the refrigerated section or other pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

quick to make and very tasty

First, add the oil to the pan, finely chop 1 onion, and sauté until translucent. Add the garlic. Then deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine or sparkling wine. Finely chop the ham and add it. If you like, you can also add cooked peas or cooked broccoli. Then add the cream and milk and immediately stir in 1 tablespoon of flour with a whisk. Bring the mixture to a boil. Season with vegetable stock, salt, and pepper. If desired, thicken with a light sauce thickener or add a little processed cheese. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini or pasta in salted water according to the package instructions and serve with the sauce.
