Souvenir from England

This dessert can be made with various types of dry pastries and various fruits, frozen or in a jar (drained). If children are eating the dessert, use juice from drained fruit instead of alcohol. First, prepare a vanilla pudding according to the package instructions. Let it cool slightly. Place the slightly crushed biscuits in a glass bowl. Reserve two. Drizzle the biscuits with plenty of alcohol or juice. Then pour half of the vanilla pudding on top, followed by the fruit. Stir the semi-whipped cream into the other half of the cooled vanilla pudding and spread this over the fruit. Cover the dessert and let it cool in the refrigerator. Sprinkle with the remaining crushed biscuits and serve.
