Trout spread with cream cheese and capers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s), hard-boiled
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 3 anchovy fillets, pickled
  • 150 g smoked trout fillet(s) without skin
  • 1 package of cream cheese, natural
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, smoked
  • 1 pinch of chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Also very good as a dip for crackers

Whisk the cream cheese with olive oil and milk until smooth. Peel and finely chop the egg. Finely chop the anchovy fillets and capers. Add everything to the cream cheese mixture. Dice the trout fillets and add them as well. Season the spread with a few squeezes of lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. Let it sit for a short while.
