Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 cans of tuna in olive oil
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 sweet apple (e.g. Pink Lady)
  • 1 half vegetable onion(s)
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 jar mayonnaise
  • e.g. Worcestershire sauce
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Drain the tuna and shred it into a bowl. Drain the corn. Finely dice the onion, apple, and previously hard-boiled eggs. Add everything to the tuna. Add the mayonnaise and mix everything together. Season to taste with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar. The mayonnaise should be good, with little acidity. Homemade is best, of course. Our family likes to serve this tuna salad at parties or brunch, and it’s always a hit.
