Tuna Steak with Melon-cucumber Salad and Cucumber-chili Butter

Melon and cucumber salad

  • 0,5 Cantaloupe melon
  • 1 Mini cucumber
  • 1 Spring onion stick
  • 1 tablespoon Arugula chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Cucumber and chilli butter

  • 50 g Butter
  • 0,5 Chilli fresh
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 3 Discs Cucumber fresh
  • Salt and pepper

  • 250 g Tuna steak
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Germ oil
  • Pepper

Melon and cucumber salad

  1. Core and dice the melon. Dice the cucumber and cut the spring onion into rings. Chop the rocket. Mix these ingredients with a tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Cucumber and chilli butter

  1. Chop the chilli and garlic. Cut the cucumber into fine cubes. Mix these ingredients with the butter and season with salt and pepper. Chill the butter.

  1. Rub a clove of garlic into a pan. Add the germ oil and heat up. Pepper the tuna steaks and fry for 1 minute on each side. Take the pan off the stove and fry the tuna steaks around the edges for a few more seconds.
  2. Serve the tuna steaks with the lettuce and butter.
