Tuna Steak with Melon-cucumber Salad and Cucumber-chili Butter
The perfect tuna steak with melon-cucumber salad and cucumber-chili butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Melon and cucumber salad
- 0,5 Cantaloupe melon
- 1 Mini cucumber
- 1 Spring onion stick
- 1 tablespoon Arugula chopped
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Cucumber and chilli butter
- 50 g Butter
- 0,5 Chilli fresh
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 3 Discs Cucumber fresh
- Salt and pepper

- 250 g Tuna steak
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon Germ oil
- Pepper
Melon and cucumber salad
- Core and dice the melon. Dice the cucumber and cut the spring onion into rings. Chop the rocket. Mix these ingredients with a tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Cucumber and chilli butter
- Chop the chilli and garlic. Cut the cucumber into fine cubes. Mix these ingredients with the butter and season with salt and pepper. Chill the butter.

- Rub a clove of garlic into a pan. Add the germ oil and heat up. Pepper the tuna steaks and fry for 1 minute on each side. Take the pan off the stove and fry the tuna steaks around the edges for a few more seconds.
- Serve the tuna steaks with the lettuce and butter.
