Tuna Tartare with Lime and Sage

The perfect tuna tartare with lime and sage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Tuna sushi quality
  • 2 Pc. Lime juice
  • 1 Pc. Lime zest
  • 15 Pc. Sage leaves
  • 170 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 120 ml Cream
  • 3 tsp Honey
  1. For the crème fraîche sauce, stir until smooth and gradually add the cream until the sauce takes on the desired consistency. Then add the juice of 1 lime, the grated zest of 1 lime and honey and season with salt, pepper and possibly additional honey.
  2. For the tartare finely chop the sage, cut the tuna into small pieces and mix with the sage and the juice of 1 lime. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately, as the lime juice will attack the color of the tuna within a very short time.
