Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 turkey escalopes (150g each), thinly pounded
- 100 g minced beef
- 100 g cheese (Gouda), diced
- 1 banana(s), thin slices
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- curry
- oil
- ½ liter chicken broth
- 20 g flour
- 2 tbsp cream
- wine, white
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
filled with minced meat, cheese + banana
First, mix the ground beef with the diced cheese, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and about 1/4 teaspoon of curry powder. Lightly pepper and salt the inside of the turkey schnitzel, spread the ground beef mixture on top, and top with about half of the banana slices. Roll up and secure with toothpicks. Sear well on all sides in hot oil. Deglaze with the chicken stock and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and simmer with the lid closed for about 20 minutes. For the sauce, mix the flour with a little cold water and use it to thicken the sauce, then refine it with the cream. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and curry powder. If you like, you can also add a splash of white wine. Finally, add the second half of the banana to the sauce. I serve it with rice and a green salad.
