Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) turkey schnitzel
  • 4 slice(s) cooked ham, small (or 2 large ones halved)
  • 2 tomatoes, possibly 3
  • 12 basil leaves
  • 125 g mozzarella, sliced
  • 80 g cheese, grated Gouda or Parmesan
  • olive oil
  • lots of oregano
  • little thyme
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quickly prepared in the microwave combined with grill

Lightly oil the turkey schnitzel, season with salt and pepper. Place in a microwave-safe casserole dish (without a lid). Arrange the cooked ham and tomato slices on top. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes at 600 watts on a medium grill. Top with basil leaves, then mozzarella. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, oregano, and a little thyme. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for another 7 minutes at 600 watts on a medium grill. Let stand for another 3 minutes in the oven, switched off.
