Turkey schnitzel Hawaii

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels
  • 1 can pineapple rings
  • 1 pack of processed cheese (toast cheese)
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • 1 bottle of curry sauce (e.g. from Heinz)
  • 250 g rice
  • salt water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

a super delicious dish, good to prepare

Rinse the turkey schnitzels, pat dry, and remove any fat if necessary. Briefly fry them in a pan until they are just (!) cooked through. Pour the curry sauce into a casserole dish. Open the can of pineapple rings, pour some of the juice into the empty sauce bottle, screw the bottle shut, and shake to loosen any remaining sauce. Pour the sauce into the dish and stir until creamy. Place the schnitzels in the sauce; they should be about 3/4 covered with sauce. Place a slice of ham, a slice of pineapple, and a slice of cheese on each schnitzel. If you like, dice the rest of the pineapple and sprinkle it over the mixture. Bake the dish in the oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes. During this time, also prepare the rice in salted water. Serve the dish on plates. The schnitzels are also ideal for guests, as you can prepare everything in the casserole dish and then just bake it later.
