Turkey schnitzel with potato crust

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 turkey or chicken schnitzels, thin
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Sage leaves
  • 350 g jacket potatoes
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Pepper, pink

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Rinse the schnitzels with cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels over high heat for about 1 minute on each side. Then season with salt and pepper and place on a baking sheet. Wash the sage leaves and pat dry. Peel and slice the potatoes. Place on the schnitzels and top with sage leaves. Mix the cheese with the crème fraîche, season with salt, and pour over the potatoes. Sprinkle with pink pepper and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad.
